Roulette is the most popular board game in the world and is present in any casino. The roulette table is made from the green carpet where you make your bets, and the wheel in which the dealer or croupier spins the ball. The goal is to predict on which number the ball will land. Or being able to predict whether the number is even or odd, or even if the number is red or black.

The most popular variants are American Roulette and European Roulette. The basic rules are the same as the payment of the bets. The only difference is the Rule of Zero. The European roulette has a zero (in the wheel then there are the numbers 1 through 36 plus zero)

While the American roulette has a zero and double zero (in the wheel there are the numbers 1 to 36, a zero and double zero).

In both variations we can see the following points:

Straight Up (The bet is paid 35:1)

Bet on a single number or zero.

Split Bet (17:1)

Bet on two numbers. Place your bets on the line that separates the two numbers.

Street Bet (11:1)

Bet on three numbers. Place your bets on the line outside of row number selected.

Corner Bet (8:1)

Bet on four numbers. Place your bet at the point where they intersect the four numbers.

Five Bet (6:1, only possible with American roulette)

This bet can be made only on the numbers: zero, double zero, one, two and three. Place your chips at the end of the line between numbers 00 and 3

Line Bet (5:1)

Bet on six numbers. Place your bet on the outer row, at the point where they intersect the lines dividing the two rows.

Column Bet (2:1)

Bet on the column. Placing a bet on the box marked “2 to 1, the zero is not covered.

Dozen Bet (2:1)

Bet on twelve numbers. Place your bet on the boxes marked “1st 12″, “2nd 12″ or “3rd 12″, the zero is not covered.

Red / Black (1:1)

Odd / Even (1:1), the zero is not covered.

Low / High (1:1), the zero is not covered.

In European Roulette, where the ball lands on zero, the bets on red, black, even, odd, low, high are completely lost.

In American Roulette with 00 and 0, you lose half of the bet on red, black, even, odd, low and high.

If you expect to find a strategy that allows you to always win at roulette, we regret to disappoint you because there is a similar strategy. Each system in the long term loses because there is no system capable of beating the advantage of a 0 or 00 that has the house.

In Roulette there are different systems, some of which are used in the short-term may also lead to good winnings. Remember though that in the long term you can’t prevail. We see some of these systems:

Progressive betting on red / black and Odd / Even

Red / Black Even / Odd bets are the betting that have the highest probability to come out. For example, if you bet on black you have about 47% chance of winning (not 50% due to the house edge of 0 or 00). Therefore we recommend you to bet on this bet is to take bets progressive

You choose a color and progressive place bets on it.

Odd or Even choosing and progressive place bets on it.

You choose both a color and odd / even bet you make progress on these fields.

Again, however, that these betting systems do not guarantee in any way to play a bigger margin but allow a more rational approach to the game.

Paroli System on Red / Black or Odd / Even

Another way to bet that can be adapted to the Roulette System Paroli. Or if you win a bet doubled after that.

Is not suggested to use the Martingale system. Stay away from this system. Sooner or later you will lose all your money!

Roulette Strategy 1-18 and third dozen

Another strategy often used in the casino is as follows: for every bet you make while betting on 1-18 and third dozen. This means that you cover 30 numbers at the same time and you lose just in the case it comes out:

0, 00, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

For every time you turn the ball then you get 30 chances to win against 8 to lose.

Whereas a win on the High 1 to 18 is paid 1: 1, and third Dozen 2: 1, we can have the following scenarios:

The ball lands on a number from 1 to 18: Win a chip but you lose what you bet on the third dozen. Then it comes out the same value.

The ball is over the number from 19 to 24 wins both chips. You are under two chips.

The ball lands on a number between 25 and 36 Win two chips on that bet and you lose that bet on the altar. Earn a chip.

Even if the probability of hitting is favorable to the player, you must remember that the gain would be achieved only if the result is the third dozen 24-36. In the long term you loose.

Some people try to compensate by trying to bet different amounts on the two fields, or in this case to implement progressive betting. As in all games these methods can help you increase your capital very quickly as you can decrease it at least as fast. However, if you are not able to stop after getting a good win in the end the bank will always have the upper hand.

Biloxi Strategy

This strategy is called by the sheriff who had first used to cover and consists of two columns and some strategic issues:

You must place 6 chips on the first column, and 6 chips on the third.

A chip on the line that divides 0 and 00, one between 8 and 11, one between 17 and 20 and one between 26 and 29.

By placing bets in this way you cover 32 numbers on the 38 possible ones. So, you have 85% chance of winning.

Every time the ball will land on a number you are covered, you win 2 coins.

This is a strategy that actually might work for short periods of time. The problem is that if you roll a number that is not covered (although statistically this happen only once every 20-30 times); you lose 16 chips in one shot. In the long term this strategy is unfortunately also loosing.

Is it possible to win at the roulette?

Let’s say that in the long term is certainly very difficult. The secret to win at roulette, but in other games, is satisfied. If you can get a decent profit even with the help of a system seen above, one must have the strength to stop.
