Casino War

Casino war is by far one of the most simple casino games you could ever come across. Based on the children’s card game of ‘Warfare’ the rules are pretty simple to understand. In the casino version of the game you play on a blackjack like table with six decks of cards shuffled together. The card rankings are the same as poker, except that aces are always high.

Once you have placed your bet, two cards will be drawn, one for you, one for the dealer. To win the game you just simply have a higher card than the dealer. If you win you are paid out at odds of 1 to 1. Should you lose the house takes the money.

The game becomes interesting when there is a tie between you and the dealer. At this point you can either forfeit, in turn loosing half of your stake, or you can declare war. If you declare war you are required to place another bet equal to the first. The dealer will burn three cards and then draw two cards again. Should you beat or equal the dealer’s card this time you will win on your extra bet and retain the first, should you lose you will forfeit both bets.

As you can see the game is quite simple and overall the chances are pretty even to win good money. the main edge the house has is on the forfeit of half of your bet on a tie. This does increase their odds of retaining money slightly but generally speaking this is a good game to have some fun with. Just sit back and enjoy!
